I am constantly struggling to find an Italian speaking/learning child to set up on a play date with my daughter who has been learning the language since she was 6 weeks old. This group is for mothers who are trying to raise their children through the Italian language. Even if you do not speak Italian, but your child is learning then this group is for you!

We meet monthly to speak Italian, trade Italian restaurant names and ideas for Italian vacations. We eat Italian food, drink Italian wine and spend an enjoyable evening with old friends and new.

… I have met many foreigners here in Chicago that I have enjoyed fun outings with, good conversations and have learned so much about their countries.  Let's go to an Irish pub for drinks, the many little BYOB ethnic restaurants all around the city, foreign films, watch a football(soccer) match or attend the city's cultural festivals and events. Please be a professional, friendly and outgoing. Any inappropriate behavior is not tolerated.
